Charlene began her love for all things office while playing with her older sister on the intercom phone system at her mom’s office. During her years in college, she put her phone “skills” to great use as Westmont College’s operator. Charlene met her husband Tim (both of them from Northern California) during the first day of classes at Westmont and got her first introduction to Mount Rainier (the high school) and John Knox Presbyterian Church from a fellow Normandy Park classmate. Charlene has worked in customer service, mailroom (both at CRISTA Ministries) and in administrative roles in educational support. Charlene seized her gainful employment to raise her now 18- and 16-year-olds. While raising the children, Charlene was a Children’s Leader in Bible Study Fellowship. Charlene has benefited from interactions with many folks and special services from the John Knox Community. As Administrative Assistant for the preschool, Charlene is tickled combining her love for preschoolers, office tasks, Jesus, and his church.
